It is NOT a door-stop, a step stool, a meat tenderizer, or a tire chock(block) - go figure. .think again. It's a fish bowl, an herb garden planter, a coin bank, an ant-farm habitat container, a magnification device.

this was a very disappointing attempt at a purchase: after waiting 1.5 wks for my purchase to arrive, i called the company that was supposed to ship my product only to find out that they did not have my ordered item in stock--they told me that they hadn't had that item in stock for months and that amazon.com was at fault for not up-dating that information.regardless of whose fault it is, i'm still without my coffee carafe.

I am very happy with it. This replacement carafe is identical to the original.

Since coffee is such an important part of my family's morning, I'm living with the white carafe, even though it sticks out like a sore thumb on my countertop. Even the packing slip read that it was black. The purchase of the carafe was solely to replace a broken one of the same model and color. When it arrived, the carafe was white not black, as ordered.
